On Tuesday, September 21, 2004, Upper Saddle River based Lancaster Protective and Investigative Services handled the security for golf superstar Tiger Woods in New York City. Tiger Woods was in New York City to promote his new video game and made several appearances including the CBS Morning Show, Regis and Kelly Show, ESPN Sports Center and Conan O’Brien. Lancaster Protective conducted all the security and crowd control for these appearances. This task was particularly challenging for Lancaster because not only was President Bush in New York, but Senator John Kerry also appeared on the Regis and Kelly Show and there were 80 heads of state, and their motorcades in town for the United Nations General Assembly. Tiger made all of his appearances on time without any problems. Lancaster Protective Services is headquartered in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey and is staffed predominately by off-duty and retired police officers from Northern New Jersey and New York City and is a full service security and protective services company.
